About MIAFCR
The Mining Industry Association for Fair and Clear Regulation (MIAFCR) exists to advocate for equitable, transparent, and enforceable regulatory frameworks in the mining sector. Grounded in democratic principles, we unite industry stakeholders, communities, and policymakers to ensure mining balances economic contributions with human rights, ecological preservation, and ethical governance. Our vision is a global mining industry where regulations are co-designed with marginalized voices, transparency combats exploitation, and extraction practices regenerate ecosystems.
Adopted on February 24, 2025, our mission drives us to bridge legislative intent with impactful implementation.
What We Do
Transparent Advocacy

Education & Empowerment
Offering legal training and compliance tools, we help operators—like those under South Africa’s MPRDA—adopt safety and environmental standards.

MIAFCR is governed by a democratically elected Board of Directors, ensuring transparency through open AGMs, independent audits, and multi-stakeholder committees. We facilitate collaboration between industry, civil society, and governments to co-create balanced policies. Our financial integrity is upheld as a nonprofit, reinvesting all resources into our mission—never for private gain.
